Aloha David. Just to let you know, the Dry Lemon Peel we have in
stock is sweet and salty. It is not sweet and tart. Would you still
like us to process your order? Also, just for your info, if you
shipped it ground instead of 2nd Day Air, you would save $2.48 but
would receive your order 5 to 8 days later. Please let me know what
you would like us to do. If we do not hear from you by tomorrow
morning, we will process and ship your order as is. Thank you very
much for your order.

Mahalo!

Thank you, Wayne. Please go ahead and ship it 2nd day air. When I was a boy in Hilo in 1955, there was sweet lemon peel and sour lemon peel, sold at Japanese markets. Both were quite popular. I have not been able to find the dry sour lemon peel. If you ever hear of any or a recipe for making it, please let me know. Aloha to you also. - Kawika

Hi Wayne - I got the lemon peel on Thursday and it was pretty much how I remembered it. It's been almost 60 years, Hawaii was still a territory when I lived in Hilo. I quickly remembered to take very small bites and savor each one. I'm pretty sure we would buy just one piece from the small shop to eat on the way to and after school. I was 7 at the time. Thanks again - David
